Hi Steven, I totally missed this photo before commenting back on the house photo I posted.  The house pictured above is definitely the one that burnt down, which of course is such a shame.

Right...that's the one we always called the Main House.  Just saw your response to my comment on the other white house...that is definitely the one that was described as where did his composing.  The other white building down the slope from the Main House certainly looked to be stables of some kind.  Fascinating stuff, y'know?
