Welcome to Bungalow Colony People! While I don't remember your name, my guess is, given when you were at Sunny Croft, that you probably knew my brother George Kivowitz as he's the same age as you. Michael Honig and Jill Schwartz would have been some other names that might ring a bell. I believe we started going in '68 when I was 5 and were there till '74.
I've got some great video that I've transferred from old super 8mm movies that I've been meaning to post - my bet is that you or your family show up in it.
Where was your bungalow or apartment? We were at the bottom of the hill in the last pair of bungalows furthest from the pool.
Looking forward to hearing from you and thanks for joining my little bungalow web experiment.
Would your cousin be Jill Schwartz (maiden name)? If so, then yes, I remember her well. I have silent 16mm film of me with her at Sunnycroft.
It's unbelievably sad what happened to Sunnycroft. I have such incredibly good memories of the place; I told my wife that if we ever won the lottery I would try to find out who owns the property and buy it all back.

Hi Gail,

Hi Gail,
If you go to this link on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRtIIR6Qels&list=HL1342644076&feature=mh_lolz
you'll see 17 minutes of silent Super-8 film that my folks shot at Sunnycroft between 1957 and 1961. I've spotted Jill in three sequences:
1:49 Masquerade party parade up at the tennis court: Jill's wearing a white dress w/black polka dots and a red belt.
10:54 It's a camp group photo, and I believe that's Jill on the far left. That's me sitting next to her.
13:43-14:12 Me and Jill together; looks like we dressed up for a social.
Feel free to watch all of it, but most of it is centered around my family!
Take care,
Steve
Bruce, thanks for sharing that footage, its priceless!
I knew Jill well, but I would have met her when she was 14 to 17 or so when she was my older brother's girlfriend.
I don't know if you're still getting messages but if you are - drop me a note.
