Hello Elliot, welcome to Bungalow Colony People. Not much happens here but with any luck, you'll be able to connect with some old friends from Scheiberville (there are more than a few here) and hopefully share some of your memories, and maybe even a few photos and/or videos with everyone.
Bungalow Colony People is a personal project of mine that I started to help preserve a bit of the Catskills bungalow colony experience that I and so many others enjoyed years ago. My family and I went to Sunny Croft in Highland Mills (near Monroe) from '68 - '74. I require people to become members so that I can avoid having spammers join the community - so far, only one has gotten through over the years and was quickly booted out.
The site is a bit funky as I'm running the very first versino of Ning from 2008 or so, and so it will likely seem a bit outdated but I've wanted to avoid the much higher monthly fees that an upgrade would incur.
I hope you make some connections, find some interesting stories and maybe share a few of your own.
