Welcome to Bungalow Colony People! Not much happens here but with any luck, you'll be able to connect with some old friends, and enjoy some Bungalow Colony conversations/threads.
There's quite a few people here who went to Schrieberville, Swan Lake, so I'm sure you'll find some connections, and hopefully share some of your Bungalow Colony, Catskills memories - and maybe even a few photos and/or videos with everyone.
Bungalow Colony People is a personal project of mine that I started to help preserve a bit of the Catskills bungalow colony experience that I and so many others enjoyed years ago, and to help connect old friends. My family and I went to Sunny Croft in Highland Mills (near Monroe) from '68 - '74.
The site is a bit funky and outdated from a tech/web perspective as I'm running the very first version of the Ning platform from 2008, but since I'm self-funding this community site, I've wanted to avoid the much higher monthly fees that an upgrade would incur.
I hope you make some connections, find some interesting stories and maybe share a few of your own!
Best,
Manny Kivowitz
