Hello Paul,
Welcome to my little bungalow colony experiment. Not much happens here but the site has collected some interesting stories, particularly about Sunnycroft.
You're about 6 years older than me but we were definitely there at the same time and my guess is that you're about the same age as Alan Honig, he and his parents were the bungalow adjoining ours. By '71 & '72 you must have been a CIT right? Another connection might be Andrew Koopman, I was good friends with his younger brother Evan and we lived on the same block in Queens.
I hope all is well and that you're enjoying the holiday season. I hope you wouldn't mind sharing some stories, recollections & photo's if you have some. There's a number of Sunnycroft people here, hopefully you can connect.
